Getting Started with HelpFaster
HelpFaster is an AI-powered customer support platform that lets you train a chatbot on your own content and deploy it on your website in minutes. Every answer your bot gives includes source citations so your customers can verify the information.
Creating Your Account
Visit helpfaster.ai/signup and sign up with your email address or Google account. No credit card is required for the free plan. After confirming your email you will be taken straight to the dashboard.
Setting Up Your Organization
Once logged in, you will be prompted to create an organization. The organization is the top-level container for all of your chatbots, team members, knowledge bases, and billing settings. Give it a clear name — typically your company or product name.
You can invite team members later from the Settings > Team page. Each plan has a team-member limit; check the pricing page for details.
Dashboard Overview
The dashboard is your command center. Here is what you will find:
- Chatbots — Create and manage multiple AI agents. Each bot has its own knowledge base, persona, and widget configuration.
- Conversations — Browse all conversations your bots have had. Filter by date, status, or escalation state.
- Leads — View and export contacts that the AI captured during conversations.
- Analytics — Track message volume, resolution rates, popular topics, and knowledge gaps.
- Settings — Manage your organization, team members, billing, API keys, and integrations.
Creating Your First Chatbot
Click New Chatbot on the dashboard. Give the bot a name and optionally set a persona (tone and instructions the AI should follow). After creation you will land on the bot detail page where you can:
- Add knowledge base sources (documents, URLs, or raw text).
- Customize the widget appearance.
- Copy the embed snippet and paste it into your website.
The bot starts answering questions as soon as its knowledge base has finished indexing — typically within a few minutes depending on the volume of content.
